There are just three simple steps to calculate your costs for Summer School!
Step 1 - Registration
First, decide how many days you wish to attend Summer School. The full rate is for Friday afternoon to Wednesday midday. Part time rates are calculated depending on the day/s attending. All age brackets are calculated as of 2018.
Example 1: Amy is a pensioner who wants to attend Summer School on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Her registration costs would be $18.50 (Friday) + $37.00 (Saturday) + $37.00 (Sunday) = $92.50
Example 2: Rachel and Greg want to attend Summer School full time and bring their three school-aged children. Instead of paying $790 ($200 (Adult) + $200 (Adult) + $130 (Child Pre-Grade 1 - Grade 12) + $130 (Child Pre-Grade 1 - Grade 12) + $130 (Child Pre-Grade 1 - Grade 12)), they are eligible for the Family Rate and will only pay $700 for their entire family's registration.
Step 2 - Accommodation
Next, decide if you are staying on-site or if you will organise your own off-site accommodation. If you are staying on-site, choose your preferred accommodation location. You can find a list of available accommodation venues here. If you wish to book out an entire room, you will have to pay an extra fee per bed per night. All prices shown are per person per night.
Spare Beds for Private Room
Example 1: Amy wants to stay at Camp Tamborine on Friday and Saturday night and have a private room to herself. There are three spares bed in her room. Her accommodation costs would be $20 (Friday) + $60 (3 Empty Beds) + $20 (Saturday) + $60 (3 Empty Beds) = $160.
Example 2: Rachel and Greg want to stay at WEC Centre with their family for the entirety of the conference. Their costs would be $59.50 + $59.50 + $47.00 + $47.00 + $47.00 = $260 per night for 5 nights = $1300.
Step 3 - Meals
Finally, if you are staying at an uncatered site (camping and Camp Tamborine) or off-site, you need to pre-book any meals you wish to eat on-site.
If you are staying at WEC Centre, CMS Centre, or Camp Panorama, meal prices are already included in your accommodation price. Please note that as part of the booking process you will still have to select all meals.
Example 1: Amy wants to have lunch on Saturday and dinner on Friday and Saturday. Her meal costs are $13.00 (lunch) + $16.50 (dinner) + $16.50 (dinner) = $46.00
Example 2: Rachel and Greg are staying at WEC Centre, so all their meals are paid for in their accommodation fee.
